Participate in user studies

4.0 3 years ago

Pros:

-The Respondent platform has helped me to participate in both moderated and unmoderated studies of many companies. -Software, mobile applications, websites, are a few types of studies this platform provides us to test. - This platform pay well to the user for taking part in studies that help to make the web better.

Cons:

The thing I did not like about this platform is that we have to fill out surveys all the time to take part in studies and it's there are very few studies where you will be invited to take part. I filled out around 13-14 surveys and only receive an invitation for 1 study.

Efficient and User-Friendly: A Review of Respondent's Online Survey Platform"

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Respondent is an online survey platform that is highly regarded for its user-friendly interface, efficient survey tools, and diverse pool of respondents. The platform has a range of features and customization options that can help users create effective and well-structured surveys, and the real-time feedback and analytics provided by Respondent can be highly valuable for making data-driven decisions. One of the key benefits of Respondent is its focus on targeting specific demographics and audiences. The platform has a large and diverse pool of respondents, which can be filtered based on various demographic criteria, such as age, gender, location, and more. This allows users to target their surveys to specific groups, which can lead to more accurate and valuable data.Respondent also offers a range of customization options, such as branding and design customization, which can help users create surveys that align with their brand and messaging. The platform also provides a variety of survey templates, which can help users save time and ensure that their surveys are well-structured and effective.Another potential benefit of Respondent is its customer support. The platform has a dedicated support team that is available to answer questions and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. This is essential for ensuring a positive user experience and can help users feel confident and supported throughout the survey process.

Pros:

I can provide some information about potential strengths and benefits of Respondent's online survey platform. One of the most significant benefits of Respondent's online survey platform is its efficiency and user-friendliness. The platform is designed to be easy to use, with a straightforward interface that makes it easy to set up and manage surveys. Additionally, Respondent offers a wide range of customizable survey templates, which can help save time and ensure that surveys are well-structured and effective.Another potential strength of Respondent is its focus on targeting specific demographics and audiences. The platform has a large and diverse pool of respondents, which can be filtered based on various demographic criteria, such as age, gender, location, and more. This allows users to target their surveys to specific groups, which can lead to more accurate and valuable data.Respondent also offers a range of features and tools that can help users get the most out of their surveys. For example, the platform provides real-time feedback and analytics, which can help users track their progress and make data-driven decisions. Respondent also offers a variety of customization options, such as branding and design customization, which can help users create surveys that align with their brand and messaging. Finally, Respondent's customer support is highly regarded by users.

Cons:

One potential limitation of Respondent is its pricing structure. The platform charges a fee for each completed survey, which can be relatively expensive for larger or more complex surveys. This pricing model may not be ideal for users on a tight budget or those who need to conduct multiple surveys on a regular basis.Additionally, some users have reported issues with the quality of responses provided by respondents. While Respondent has a large and diverse pool of respondents, the platform cannot guarantee that all respondents will provide accurate or useful feedback. This is a common issue with online survey platforms, and users may need to take additional steps, such as using screening questions or targeting specific demographics, to ensure that they receive high-quality responses. Finally, Respondent may not be ideal for users who require advanced survey customization or integration with other tools and platforms. While Respondent offers a range of customization options, some users may require more advanced features, such as custom scripting or integration with other tools like CRM software.Despite these limitations, Respondent remains a highly regarded online survey platform, with many benefits and features that make it a popular choice for businesses and organizations looking to conduct surveys.

Maximizing Your Market Research Efforts with Respondent

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Cost-effective method than traditional research methods like hiring a research firm or recruiting participants.

Pros:

Respondent has a large network of participants from all over the world, making it easier to find participants who fit specific demographic or behavioral criteria for research studies. They paid a fee for their participation, which is good enough. It is a more cost-effective method than traditional research methods like hiring a research firm or recruiting participants through other channels. The platform can help speed up the research process, as businesses and researchers can quickly find and invite qualified participants to take part in their studies. It helps participants to earn a side income by just communicating with businesses.Respondents are typically pre-screened which is more trustable and they compensated people for their time, the data collected through Respondent may be of higher quality than data collected through other methods.

Cons:

It has a large network of participants, but it may not always be possible to find participants who fit highly specific or niche demographic or behavioral criteria. For participants, it's not easy to take part in every research because of company requirements.

Good software but......

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

I've been using respondent for over 2 years now and it's really easy to use, very simple, useful and anyone can use it and I love the fact that you can respond to research surveys where there are all kinds of prices and you know straight away what you're going to be paid and there's plenty of choice in all sectors to do video conferences and get paid for it I think it's great

Cons:

of course that respondent has faults like all software of course, what I liked least is that sometimes even if we are qualified for the project we are not sure of being selected and even sometimes we receives no notifications despite having completed 1 selection questionnaire and I find it a real shame because there is potential but not exploited enough

After A Little Over A Year, I FINALLY Had The Opportunity To Get Paid With Respondent

3.0 2 years ago

Comments: With my first qualified study, it was a wonderful experience. It was an hour long via Zoom, and when you qualify know that any information shared is confidential. It was a lot of fun and pay is via PayPal. A small percentage (5% typically) will be deducted before the final payout. It usually takes a week to get paid upon completion of the study; I received mine actually three days later (which was a bonus).

Pros:

They have a wide variety of surveys and studies in which you're able to participate. There are studies which are one-on-one interviews via Zoom or similar platform. You additionally have those in which they're in person depending on where you live, and COVID-19 rules must be followed. Range in study pay outs can be around $25 to where I've seen some for as much as $500.

Cons:

It took a little over a year to FINALLY qualify for a study. I admit there were times I wanted to give up, but I kept at it. Not everybody will qualify for every study. Reasons include studies only specified for males, females, if you live in a certain state, if you live in a certain city, if you work for a particular industry, if you use a certain software, your age, your ethnicity, if you're single, if you're married, if you're a small business owner, if you're an employee who works remotely or hybrid, and on from there. It's not a software in which a steady income can be earned; nevertheless, I've read other reviews before I signed up that because where some people lived their earnings were in the upper hundreds monthly. Who wouldn't mind that? I'd say the potential is there, but again know ahead of time you won't qualify for every study.

Awesome Respondent!

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: I've used many survey platforms before and I've being using Respondent for a while now. It's a really awesome tool where you can both conduct researches and participate into the researches and get paid. As a participant of a several tech researches I have had an excellent experience from Respondent. 1:1 studies can be connected via a scheduled video call (which has a high payout). And the moderated studies can be conducted via screen recording which is really easy. As long as you provide honest feedbacks you will be able to receive a considerable amount of $ tip as well. Payouts are done via PayPal and payments were received in time.

Pros:

As a Researcher : Unlimited projects & users , Versatile participants screeners, Built-in session reminders, Easy incentive payments ,Calendar integration, Pay as you go As a Participant: Easy to use, Can participate in both professional and general surveys, Can provide skills in profile section in order to match surveys with our profile (etc: Cloud, Kubernetes), Tips $

Cons:

As a Participant: Most of the surveys are based on tech (Mostly suitable for professionals), Profile rating/review system is only visible to researcher, not for the participant.

Worth it! And better than any other research center out there

4.0 3 years ago

Pros:

I came across Respondent only a couple of months ago, and I have to say that I am glad that I found it. A lot of research centers focused on long surveys for not more than 50 cents pay. However, Respondent focus more on video call interviews and diaries for an average of $40-200 in pay. The number of studies posted on their platform is also pretty consistent. It is a great place for both researchers and candidates.

Cons:

I have two cons about Respondent. First, it can take up to 5-6 days business days to get paid. I wish it could be shorter. Second con, they take 5% of candidate's paycheck. I wish they would just charge a few directly to the researchers.
